Lady Gaga’s latest smash “Born This Way” extends its Billboard Hot 100 dominance to five weeks, with 176,000 digital copies sold and more than 105 million audience impressions. The track is the longest-running number one on the chart since Eminem’s “Love The Way You Lie,” which occupied the top spot for seven weeks last year.
“Born This Way” remains the best-selling single of 2011, with over 1,650,000 digital copies sold in the U.S. to date. The release of the remixes EP is expected to help the song become Gaga’s eighth consecutive 2-million-seller in less than a month.
“Born This Way” is the first single from Lady Gaga’s forthcoming album of the same title, due out on 23rd May. The RedOne-produced “Judas” is set to be released as the record’s second single in early May.
