Madonna has recently went on ABC and Graham Norton interviews, and has been posed with the same question, though differently structured, twice. That question, which has been getting the Internet talking ever since Gaga's debut in 2008, is what Madonna herself thinks about Gaga.
In response to an ABC interviewer, whom posed the following question, "What do you think about Lady Gaga and do you feel she's copying you?", Madonna promptly replied, "Well, I certainly think she references me a lot in her work. Sometimes I think it's amusing, flattering, and well done." She also acknowledged Born This Way – Express Yourself comparisons, saying she recognized similarities between the two songs when she heard it on air.
