2011 has been a year full of emotions and very special moments for Lady Gaga and her little monsters. So we at Lady Gaga Now decided to write a post about the best Lady Gaga’s moments.

1. February 13th – First ‘Born This Way’ Performance
After being released on iTunes and reaching the first position in most of the countries, Lady Gaga arrived in a vessel and performed her first epic single Born This Way at the Grammy Awards. The track is now considered an anthem for the LGBT community. Elton John said Born This Way is the gayest song he has ever heard.

2. March 3rd – Lady Gaga at the Thierry Mugler Fashion Show
Lady Gaga made a catwalk debut in Paris during the Thierry Mugler Fashion Show. During the gig, Lady Gaga showed off her unique look as she shared a new song Government Hooker with the audience while strutting her stuff on the catwalk.


3. May 23rd – The release of Born This Way (album)
Lady Gaga’s highly anticipated and second full-length studio album was relased on this day. Born This Way had become the fastest-selling album worldwide in 2011. In total the album has sold more than 5 million copies and 8 million copies shipped.

4. June 11th – Lady Gaga at the Europride
Lady Gaga decided to take part in the Europride which was held in Rome, Italy. She performed two of her tracks: Born This Way and The Edge of Glory. More than 2 million of people went to see her that day and it was probably one of the best moments of her career.

5. August 28th – Jo Calderone at the Video Music Awards 2011
Lady Gaga took the stage to open the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards, and to no one’s surprise, she tore the roof off Los Angeles’ Nokia Theatre with a gutsy performance of her hit single YoĆ¼ and I in character as her male alter ego, Jo Calderone.

6. September 24th – Lady Gaga’s tribute to Jamey Rodemeyer
Lady Gaga’s performance at the iHeartRadio is probably one of the best of 2011. She dedicated her song Hair to Jamey Rodemeyer, who committed suicide because of bullying. She said: “I wrote this record about how your identity is really all you’ve got when you’re in school … so tonight, Jamey, I know you’re up there looking at us and you’re not a victim. You’re a lesson to all of us”.

7. November 6th – Europe Music Awards 2011
We all know how much Born This Way means to Lady Gaga. No doubt this was the best moment of the Born This Way era. Not only she won the award for best female and best video, but she won the award for best song. Lady Gaga got emotional while accepting it and said: “I knew this was a special song”.

8. November 21st – Barneys workshop and the Born This Way Foundation
The Workshop is the retailer’s in-store holiday shop, conceived, designed and christened by Lady Gaga – 5,500 square feet of bright colors, crazy shapes and a gigantic cartoon statue of the superstar herself in a pinup pose surrounded by jagged mirrors and sitting atop thousands of black plastic discs.
Later, she launched the Born This Way Foundation, which aims to further inspire young people, and said: “My mother and I have initiated a passion project. We call it the Born This Way Foundation. Together we hope to establish a standard of Bravery and Kindness, as well as a community worldwide that protects and nurtures others in the face of bullying and abandonment.”

9. November 22nd – Lady Gaga x Terry Richardson Book
Lady Gaga released an amazing book which contains more than 400 photos shot by famous photographer Terry Richardson. He captured the intimate, random, behind-the-scenes moments of Lady Gaga in all aspects of her life.

10. November 24th – ABC Thanksgiving Special
A whole special was dedicated to Lady Gaga on Thanksgiving day. She directed the whole show, performed a few tracks and had a very interesting and personal interview about her daddy. She proved to the whole country she’s not a simple popstar and showed off her kindest and sweetest side by spending some time with the children of her old school in New York City and performing The Edge of Glory for her grandfather and grandmother.
