On today's Live! With Regis & Kelly, Modern Family star Jesse Tyler Ferguson and co-host Kelly Ripa were bonding over how much they love Lady Gaga, when Ripa seemed to be thunderstruck by a possibility. Her mouth dropped open, she grabbed her face and hair, and shouted, "Would she do a Modern Family?!" Turns out her Gaga sense was right to tingle: Ferguson says the singer actually reached out to the show, but, he asked, "How do you incorporate Lady Gaga into Modern Family?" and suggested that her dropping by the Cam/Mitchell home would be a bit absurd. However, he then revealed that she wouldindirectly be a major plotline in an upcoming episode, so maybe it's not so absurd after all. Watch the interchange and the Gaga plot tease above.
