Lady Gaga has been announced as a performer at the annual Robin Hood gala on 9th May. The gala is hosted by the Robin Hood Foundation, which funds and supports poverty-fighting organizations in New York City. Last year, the nonprofit raised and donated more than $88 million to programs helping poor New Yorkers, beating the 2009 record of $73 million.
