The likes of Lady Gaga, U2 & Bon Jovi will also reportedly feature... Justin Bieber, Rihanna and Nicki Minaj are to reportedly feature on a digital-only charity album to raise money for the victims of the Japanese earthquake and tsunami.

According to our US Team, some of the biggest names in music are being lined-up for the LP, with the likes of U2 and Bon Jovi also rumoured to appear. It is thought that Lady Gaga will also feature on the record, which will hope to raise funds for the Japanese Red Cross.

In a statement about the project, a spokesperson for Universal Music claimed: "We are doing it only digitally because it is faster, and this will be a worldwide release. The plan is to have it available later this week,"

Universal are also hoping to maximise proceeds by finding more artists who are willing to waive royalties, meaning they are able to raise more money for those affected by the natural disaster in Japan.

Earlier this month, Gaga designed a prayer bracelet for Japan, where she managed to raise $250,000 for the Japan relief effort.
