Lady Gaga has been voted Hero Of The Year at the Shockwaves NME Awards 2011. The result was announced at the ceremony at London’s O2 Academy Brixton tonight (23 February).
Gaga had been up against other nominees Kanye West, My Chemical Romance’s Gerard Way and WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange in the NME.COM vote.
