When Lady Gaga accepted her "Video of the Year" award at the MTV VMAs, most people were focused on the dress she was wearing, which was made entirely of meat! She even appeared on Ellen wearing the dress -- Ellen responded by giving her a vegetable bikini. The meat dress caused an outcry among animal rights activists, most notably PETA. But what doesn't offend PETA these days, anyway?
For two years in a row, our wifey takes the celeb of the year crown! With "Telephone" and "Alejandro", the Monster Ball Tour, her VMAs meat dress, and continued support and activism in the gay rights community kept her on top. We couldn't be more proud! Keep up the good work, bb!
