Vogue.co.uk – Lady Gaga has been signed up by global fragrance company Coty Inc. According to WWD, the long-term licensing deal was hammered out last week and will see Gaga producing a number of perfumes under her name – with the first fragrance due for release in spring 2012.


While Lady Gaga – who won eight MTV Video Music Awards at the weekend – has previously fronted the campaign for MAC Cosmetics’ Viva Glam lipstick alongside fellow singer Cyndi Lauper, this new deal with Coty looks set to be her biggest beauty signing yet.


Gaga will join the likes of Sarah Jessica Parker, Kate Moss and Jennifer Lopez who also produce perfumes with Coty.
