She has just about exhausted the extremes one can go to with costumes, so Lady Gaga has turned to using stage design to shock her audiences.
As the Bad Romance singer performed on stage during her Los Angeles show as part of her Monster Ball tour, her piano suddenly burst into flames, to uproarious cheers from her thrilled fans.
Wearing a studded black bikini, fishnet stockings and knee-high boots, the 24-year-old sang as the flames rose, eventually standing on her seat, with one foot on the keys, to dance.

Performing at the Staples Centre in Los Angeles appeared to be a personal triumph for the singer; she can be heard in fan videos saying, 'We did it Monster Ball, we did it... We made it to the big arena in California!'
She belted out all her numerous hits, including Just Dance, Bad Romance, Poker Face and Telephone.
It was certainly a night for celebrations, as she was presented with a plaque commemorating 13 millions albums, and 51 million singles sold.

The Paparazzi singer gave a frank interview to Vanity Fair, telling the magazine, 'I won’t lie; it’s occasional. And when I say occasional, I mean maybe a couple of times a year.'

Despite warning her young fans not to emulate her behaviour, Gaga drew the wrath of health experts, and also of former drug-addict Boy George, who took to his blog to rant over the singer's admissions.
'Why offer up this information on a whim? Could it be that her use of coke is not so "occasional?"' he asks.
'As a recovering addict who knows how dangerous "occasional" use is, I can think of no reason for Gaga to reveal this to her young audience.
'Up until now she has seemed almost annoyingly professional and focused and this seems out of character!
'Isn't saying your an "occasional" drug taker a bit like saying you're bisexual? That usually means you're raving!'
