Lady Gaga is launching her own foundation in partnership with Harvard University and The California Endowment. The Born This Way Foundation is a non-profit organization focusing on youth empowerment and issues like self-confidence, well-being, anti-bullying, mentoring and career development.
"We hope to establish a standard of Bravery and Kindness, as well as a community worldwide that protects and nurtures others in the face of bullying and abandonment," Gaga said in a press release.
The Born This Way Foundation will be directed by the Grammy-winning singer and her mother, Cynthia Germanotta. The foundation will be officially launched next year. For more information, visit bornthiswayfoundation.org.
